Story A Clever Crow

One summer day, a crow got very thirsty. It searched for water hither and thither. At last it saw a jar at a distance. It flew down to it. There was a little water at the bottom of the jar. But it was too low for the crow. The crow tried to upset the jar. But the crow was not too strong to do it.

The crow was in a fix to do. At last it got an idea. It gathered stones from the surrounding areas. Then it started to fall the stones in to the jar. After doing so, the crow saw that the water has come near the easy reach of her beak. The crow now quenched his thirst by drinking as much as he liked.

When the crow eased it’s thirst for water, it flew away happily to it’s destination.
